I first discovered yoga over 20 years ago and still remember nervously standing in a drafty hallway waiting for my first ever yoga class. I had no idea that it would be the start of my yoga journey that would help me combat anxiety and give me the tools to stay calm, grounded and connected. As well as have some fun along the way! I went on to train as a yoga teacher, qualifying in 2017, and hold the British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Diploma (BWYQ).
Then 4 years ago at the start of lockdown in the UK I discovered Qigong and was instantly drawn to the ancient Chinese system of energy cultivation and now incorporate it into yoga classes to create gentle flowing movements that are accessible to all.
Having taught yoga for a number of years I was drawn to yoga therapy as a way to support others in their own journey of discovery, reconnection and wellness.
Having completed 550 hour Yoga Therapy Diploma with Yoga United (accredited by British Council for Yoga Therapy) I now offer 1 to 1 sessions and a group course to support those that experience stress and anxiety. I'm also honoured to be mentoring the next cohort of yoga therapy students with Yoga United.
